Running is now a social activity.  If you aren't doing it already, its time to socialize your running game.
So how can you get started?

Join a group on Facebook or LinkedIn.
- The Slow Runners Community Facebook group is great for those who are just starting out or need to get back in zone, members share accomplishments, tips, and sometimes frustrations. 
-Runner's Lovers is an LinkedIn group with over 20,000 members, its an excellent source for running tips and fitness insights.

Participate in Twitter discussions.
-@UKRunChat describes itself on twitter as a facilitator of "chat[s] about all things running."
​-@TheRunPage posts content about running goals, achievements, and experiences.

Use tracking apps to post your results.
RunKeeper,  Endomondo and Strava allow you to share your post-run statistics. Many of these apps are completely free, and some allow you to compete with others, or challenge your friends.

Follow  accounts on Instagram.
-@RunnersBe is an account that offers hilarious running memes.
​-Olympian @AlexiPappas posts inspirational and motivational photos. 
-@InstaRunners combines stats, quotes and pictures for the purpose of creating a running community.

Read these blogs.
-Fat Girl Running is inspirational, empathetic, and straight up hilarious. 
-The Science of Running by Steve Magness is exactly as it sounds. It takes a deep dive into the nature of running and the science behind it.
-Run Eat Repeat is more of a dieting blog offering great healthy recipes, but it also features the author's race recaps and training advice.
